1982 Schecter – Dream Machine Strat – Hardtail – ID 5693

This example dates back to the early Schecter phase before 1983 - handmade in Van Nuys, California.
One of the first Schecter endorsers was Mark Knopflermany of his legendary hits were recorded with guitars from Van Nuys.
The resulting Schecter boom resulted in a sale of the company in 1983 and a move to Texas to generate larger production numbers.
Of course, this also had an impact on the production processes.
Schecter Guitars from the early years are therefore highly sought after and rare.
