An extraordinary Strat from the German custom guitar scene of the 80s.
This Chandler Custom Staufer Stratocaster from 1986 was built by André Waldenmaier, one of the early German custom guitar builders.
The transparent See-Thru Red finish combined with a maple neck and white pickguard creates the classic Strat look with a boutique character.
Particularly interesting is the fitting of OBL (Original Bill Lawrence) humbuckers in single-coil format, which deliver significantly more output and pressure than classic Strat pickups.
Additional single-coil sound variants can be called up via a push/pull pot.
A rare custom Strat from the European boutique guitar scene of the 80s, in excellent condition.
