Ibanez introduced the AFD5 from the short-lived Artfield series in 1989. These premium guitars had some innovations such as All Access neck jointmulti-piece necks, locking tuners and exotic woods.
The double cutaway mahogany body with a beautiful two-piece quilted maple top has two symmetrical horns. The bolt-on mahogany neck features a rosewood fingerboard with 24 frets and pearl dot inlays.
The entire Artfield series was discontinued in 1989.
This rare guitar has some slight signs of use, especially on the back and a V-shaped scratch in the "frame". The frets have slight notches, but you don't notice them when playing.
