1992 Ernie Ball Music Man – Eddie Van Halen Signature EVH – blue translucent – ID 5529

The Ernie Ball Music Man EVH Signature electric guitar was developed during Music Man's five-year collaboration with Eddie van Halen in the USA.
The design and hardware configuration were focused on efficiency and technical bells and whistles were left out. The two custom-wound DiMarzio EVH humbuckers were soldered to the toggle switch and then it goes directly to the volume pot, which is labeled Tone (just like Eddies). The wood is all the more chic, quilted maple for the top on a light basswood body with a birdseye maple neck.
To keep the guitar in tune, it was fitted with Schaller machine heads and a Floyd Rose locking vibrato.

This guitar was purchased by the previous owner directly from Eddie van Halen's roadie Jake. Supposedly Eddie would have played them on the 93 North American tour, but unfortunately there is no proof of this, just a crew sticker on the suitcase.
The condition is good, the frets have minimal nicks that are not noticeable when playing, the body has a few signs of wear, small scratches on the back and sides. Scratches/print marks.
As with many of these guitar models, the blue color has faded slightly to greenish.
