Description
The entry of Marshall with the JMP-1 into our guitar racks was a complete success at that time!
The preamp produced the typical bone-dry and mid-emphasized Marshall sound in the compliant 19″ format and was or is to this day a welcome guest not only on stages but also in the studio due to its large number of interfaces (MIDI, Speaker Simulated Line Out, stereo effects path, headphone output).
The four basic sounds cover everything you can even remotely associate with rock ‘n’ roll, with a convincing dynamic and feel,
which is in no way inferior to the big “tube monsters” from the house of Marshall.
Billy F. Gibbons has often enjoyed using this device live and countless songs have been recorded with it in studios around the world.
A real classic!
