Very successful and well preserved replica of the Selmer Maccaferri from the 30s.
Born in 1900 in Cento near Bologna Italy, Mario Maccaferri was a good classical guitarist himself and later became an excellent guitar maker as well.
In the early 1930s, he hired on with the Selmer company to establish guitars there as well.
Django Reinhardt played these guitars and made the typical sound famous.
