2013 Gibson – Elliot Easton Tikibird Firebird – gold mist poly – ID 5572

The great result of the collaboration between Gibson and Elliot Eastonthe famous lead guitarist of the band "The Cars", was the limited edition Elliot Easton "Tikibird" Firebird in 2013. It is also a rare and sought-after guitar due to its versatility and specifications, which makes it particularly suitable for twangy surf sounds, as he does with his band Tiki Gods proves.
A non-reverse body with Gold Mist Poly finish, which was only available for this guitar, gives it personality. A Bigsby vibrato with Vibramate spoiler, which makes stringing easier, combined with Steinberger gearless tuners ensures tuning stability.
This Firebird is equipped with two Classic '57 humbucker pickups and, in addition to the 3-way toggle switch, has 4 slide switches for Coil-Split-Neck-PU, Coil-Split-Bridge-PU, Out Of Phase (in the middle position of the pickup selector switch) and True Bypass for the Bridge-PU.
The pickguard features the "Tikibird" and Elliot Easton's signature on the back of the headstock.

This guitar has no breaks, only slight signs of use and minor pressure marks.
The guitar was fitted with a StewMac Locking Roller Bridge (incl. pins). The original TonePros Tune-o-matic bridge is included. A bone saddle was fitted (original enclosed). The belt pins are not original.
