In 1968, the Silverface series was born, replacing the Blackface.
The first Silverface amps still had a visually very attractive aluminum frame that framed the front panel.
The "Drip Edge" feature was probably too expensive and too sophisticated and was promptly removed from the catalog in 1969.
Well maintained with fresh service.
