Since the advent of modeling technology in the guitar amp world, guitarists have been able to access a wide range of sounds and effects with relatively little effort.

But what if you want to take your own favorite sounds with you instead of the manufacturer's sound specifications? Before the Kemper Profiling Amp was released, there weren't many alternatives: Either you lugged all your equipment from place to place - like before the digital revolution - or you tried to adapt the modeled sounds of the modeling amp to your own preferences as much as possible.

Kemper is treading a new path here. Instead of using predefined emulations of various amplifier models, the Profiling Amp (nomen est omen) creates an exact copy of the sound set on the amplifier, including the connected speaker and microphone. This allows you to combine all your personal favorite sounds in one device. In addition, the sound profile can be edited with various ground effect emulations, master effects, equalizers, etc. Having your own amp fleet is not a mandatory requirement, as the Profiling Amplifier is already supplied with a large number of classic amplifier profiles. In addition, a large Kemper community has now been established in which sound profiles are exchanged worldwide via the Internet.
