With the Gretsch G6122-CS 1962 Country Gentleman Candy Apple Red, the Gretsch Gretsch Custom Shop master builder Stephen Stern once again impressively proves that he knows a thing or two about top-class hollow-body electric guitars. Based on the original 1962 specifications, this Country Gentleman features a large double-cut body made of laminated maple and a glued maple neck with ebony fingerboard. Two TV Jones Classic pickups and the elaborate Gretsch circuitry with 3-way tone switch and standby switch skillfully capture the resonant character of the hollow-body construction and deliver a brilliant sound on the guitar amplifier that ranges from expressive Nashville picking to crunchy rockabilly licks. The high and low strings can be muted using the Gretsch Twin-Mute system. Last but not least, the Gretsch Custom Shop G6122-CS 1962 Country Gentleman Candy Apple Red is equipped with a Bigsby vibrato including a rocking bar bridge and Grover Imperial tuners.

Apart from a few cracks in the paintwork, the guitar is in very good condition.
