1970 Gibson – Les Paul Custom – Refin by Relic Arts – ID 4131

Early 70s Gibson Les Paul Custom.
According to serial number built between 1970 and 1975, according to previous owner from 1970.
The LP was refinished at Relic Arts, was probably originally black.
The pickups are from a newer Les Paul Custom, the waffle back tuners and Faber bridge are new.
The volute (the reinforcement between the neck and the headstock) is slightly flatter and has probably been lightly sanded down.
It sounds fat, every note smacks and sings. Wonderfully flat and nimble setup.
