1974 Fender – Stratocaster “Mary Kaye Look” – ID 3069

Most 70s Strats were sunburst or natural, blondes were relatively rare.
The great Swamp Ash grain is visible through the thin varnish.
The most famous Blonde Strat is probably the Mary Kaye Strat with gold hardware.
The neck was re-bound, the neck was then re-varnished, the varnish on the back of the neck was sanded off, plays great.
Two holes were closed on the original pickguard.
