1974 Fender – Stratocaster – Hardtail – ID 5840

Very nice and comparatively light Fender Stratocaster Hardtail from the early CBS era.
At only 3317 grams, it is significantly below the average of many 70s Strats - a real plus in terms of playing comfort and resonance behavior.
The hardtail construction ensures a direct, tight attack and a very stable tone development - focused and clearly defined response.
In combination with the Grey Bottom single coils, the result is exactly the sound you expect: bell-like, open, with that slightly rough note that makes good 70s Strats so special.

It's a player instrument with a lot of Fender vintage charm.
