The Ovation UK II is also known as Model 1291.
UK stands for Ultra Kaman, Charles Kaman is the founder of Ovation Guitars.
Between 1979 and 1983, around 2000 to 3000 units were produced.
Ovation ceased production of solid bodies in the mid-1980s.
