The V6MRTBG Thomas Blug Signature is an exceptional guitar that brings Thomas Blug’s high-class features of his ’61 original into an affordable price range for everyone.
In addition to the standard noise suppression in the two intermediate pickup positions via the reverse sound/reverse polarity single coil in the middle position, the V6MRTBG also features the ingenious Bukka switch.
The lower tone control is designed as a push-push pot that can be used to activate an additional dummy coil for positions 1 and 5 of the 5-way switch.
Similar to a humbucker, hum and background noise are suppressed in the active state and the sound becomes somewhat rounder.
This makes it possible to create focused, powerful sounds, especially with overdrive.
If the Bukka switch is deactivated, it does not affect the signal and the pickups react absolutely authentically.
