2016 Captain – M100M – SixtyEight – ID 2926

The basis for the Captain M100 is the Plexi Super Lead from 1968. The biggest problem of the original (besides availability and price) is the abnormal volume.
What was no problem in Munich's Olympic Hall or at Woodstock poses a real problem for today's guitarists.
By the time the amp can breathe and sound great, it's already way too loud for the band room or club gig
Instead of a Power Soak, which always entails sound and dynamic losses above a certain attenuation, we opted for a PPIMV Master.
This finally makes the 100 Watt Plexi suitable for everyday use and you can fully enjoy its incredible dynamics.
