1971 Marshall - Super Bass 100w - JMP 1992 - ID 1735

Ready to Rock - this Super Bass "player" sounds outstandingly good.
Due to the optics (ventilation holes) best suited to go on a big tour with it, this is not a showcase amp!!!
Soundwise the journey goes from Hendrix to Led Zeppelin and Free to ACDC.

The amp was checked at our lounge, it runs fine.

It is still handwired and the coupling capacitors are Mustard Caps, very important for the sound.
Over the years, it must have endured some modifications, but now the circuit is back to mostly original.
A 1nF capacitor across a mix resistor boosts the highs, bringing the amp closer to Super Lead.
You can patch the channels and mix them together that way. And yet it has the fat low end of a Super Bass.
My favorite amp for ne Strat.

From the Captain Collection.
