Successful remake of the iconic guitars produced by VALCO in the 60s.
Instead of Res-O-Glass plastic, the body material is now mahogany (laminated). The Canadian company Eastwood has been resurrecting these mail-order guitar models since the early 2000s. This Korean-made guitar dates back to 2009 and is the Customshop version with rubber binding, deluxe case and the PU combination of a vintage voiced single coil (in humbucker format) on the neck and bridge and a humbucker in the middle, which was still common at the time.
At the moment 3x Alnico Hot 10 humbuckers are installed, the single coils are included.
The Town & Country model is currently no longer in production.
Not only does it look unique, it also sounds surprisingly good and versatile.
Rock, blues, indie, jazz...everything is allowed...anything goes!
The guitar is almost unplayed and in mint condition.
It has new strings (.010-.046) and a perfect setup.
