2009 Gibson Custom Shop – 1960 Les Paul R0 – ID 6138

A great R0 from the Gibson Custom Shop from 2009 —that is, the 1960s Les Paul-inspired model with a slightly slimmer neck profile and the classic burst finish.
This model comes in a beautiful VOS Darkburst finish.
In terms of tone, it clearly leans toward the classic Les Paul sound: the two Burstbucker #2 pickups deliver just the right amount of PAF warmth at the neck and the familiar bite at the bridge.
Weighing in at 3,764 grams, the guitar is also quite lightweight.
