1997 Trace Elliot – Velocette Twin – 2×10 Stereo – ID 5249

The Trace Elliot Velocette Twin Stereo from 1997 is a sought-after Class A combo that is identical in construction to the Gibson Goldtone GA30. See Article in G&B.
Manufactured in the UK, it offers two independent 15-watt power amplifiers (EL84 Class A) that can be operated either in stereo or in parallel - a unique concept that sets it far apart from standard combos in terms of sound.
With its two 10" Celestion Vintage 30 speakers and a very good spring reverb, it delivers the typical open, dynamic sound of this amplifier series.

One of the two V30 speakers has an approx. 5 cm crack in the surround, which has been expertly repaired.
One output transformer was replaced around 2013 (see photos).
