Handwired boutique combo in the style of a classic 60s design - built with great attention to detail and high-quality components.
The Captain Amps SRV SixtyFour amp is based on the legendary 60s Fender Vibroverb sound in the Stevie Ray Vaughan style with the Cesar Diaz mods. It delivers powerful cleans, creamy breakup and a very dynamic feel.
Particularly noteworthy is the upgrade to a 15" JBL D130 speaker, which provides enormous clarity, headroom and tight bass - a combination that suits this amp perfectly.
Equipped with Mercury Magnetics transformers, hand-wired construction and selected components, this amp is clearly in the boutique league.
In addition, a Captain Power Soak CPS60 was implanted for the quiet hours.
