Extremely rare JMI Vox AC10 from 1962 in near-museum condition. An original Fawn-covered AC10 with copper panel, which is extremely rare to find in this completeness and quality.
The amplifier is in exceptionally original condition: Original transformers, capacitors, JMI footswitch, Fawn Tolex, backpanels, grillcloth, carrying handle, copper panel and the original Goodmans 10" speaker are present. Changes are limited to a few nuts and bolts - technically and historically absolutely justifiable.
In terms of sound, this AC10 delivers exactly what early JMI VOX amps are famous for: crystal-clear, shimmering clean, beautiful chime and a creamy, warm overdrive as soon as you call for it. Especially with humbucker guitars (e.g. Les Paul) it develops an impressive depth and musicality. The tremolo is soft, lively and typically VOX - a real highlight.
Equipped with original old Mullard tubes and thoroughly checked in our workshop, an absolute collector's item, but also a fully-fledged studio and player amp at the highest level.
