When Carlos Santana played a Randall Smith amp in his store, he quickly got excited and shouted "That Thing Boogies!"
- that's how the first boogie finally got its name. Because the little boogie inspired him so much, he continued playing in the store for some time.
A whole crowd of people gathered to listen to Carlos.
