In the early ’80s, amp guru Paul Rivera took the reins in Fender’s amp development department.
The amps got the old blackface look again and a few “modern features” like gain, master and booster (push pull pots) and the footswitches were equipped with LEDs.
On the back you can also find an adjustable effect loop. So if you’re looking for a versatile vintage Fender amp, you’ve come to the right place.
Of course “Made in USA” and still completely handwired. After that, there was only PCB, or handwired from the custom store.
Two 6L6 tubes in the power amp, the two 10″ speakers are reminiscent of the Vibrolux Reverb.
