Successful remake of the iconic guitars produced by VALCO in the 60s.
Instead of Res-O-Glass plastic, the body material is now mahogany (laminated). The Canadian company Eastwood has been resurrecting these mail-order guitar models since the early 2000s. This Korean-made guitar dates back to 2008 (delivered in 2009) and is the Customshop version with rubber binding, deluxe case and the PU combination of a vintage voiced single coil (in humbucker format) on the neck and bridge and a humbucker in the middle, which was still common at the time.
Not only does it look unique, it also sounds surprisingly good and versatile.
Rock, blues, indie, jazz...everything is allowed...anything goes!
The guitar is in very good condition apart from a small pressure mark on the back and slight signs of wear on the pickguard.
It has new strings (.010-.046) and a perfect setup.
