1982 Gibson – The SG – Firebrand Deluxe – ID 5858

The Firebrand series (1980-1984) was created during an exciting phase in Gibson's history and combines a minimalist look with plenty of substance and outstanding playability.
The Deluxe model is made entirely of mahogany and the headstock has the classic logo, not the Firebrand logo.
The mahogany neck has no binding and, together with the ebony fingerboard, ensures a direct, powerful tone with a clear response and long sustain.
A Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates humbucker works at the bridge, giving the guitar additional pressure, open mids and a wonderfully raw vintage rock character.
