1983 Squier by Fender – 57 Vintage Stratocaster – Fiesta Red – ID 5843

The early JV models from the first years of the Japanese Fender/Squier-production today quite rightly enjoy cult status and are among the best vintage reissues of their time in terms of both sound and quality.
This '57 Vintage Stratocaster model in the classic Fiesta Red finish comes from a first-hand source and impresses with a pleasantly light weight of just 3056 grams.
The one-piece, slim maple neck offers the typical early vintage feel with a round profile and classic radius.
In terms of sound, the extremely well-swinging JV-Strat convinces with an open, bell-like and dynamic Strat tone, which makes this series so desirable.
The guitar remains largely original. In the meantime, a 5-way switch was installed, but the original 3-way switch has been reinstalled and some cables and the capacitor have been replaced. The metal parts show signs of rusting (spots).
