The guitar was originally owned by the renowned L.A. studio guitar legend Allen Hinds and was put together by himself. Hinds is not only known for his impressive session and fusion work, but also for his own signature model at Xotic Guitars as well as his collaboration with Raw Vintage pickups.
Among others, he played on productions by Randy Crawford, The Crusaders and Roberta Flack and studied at the L.A. Music Institute, among others together with Jeff Buckley.
The Telecaster (Esquire) was later sold through Lovies Guitars. According to their description, Allen Hinds installed the neck pickup himself before the guitar was delivered.
The specs are excellent: lightweight swamp ash body in classic 3-tone sunburst with binding and tortoise pickguard, combined with a very comfortable all-parts neck with rosewood fingerboard. At just 2956 grams, the guitar is also one of the pleasantly light Telecasters.
In terms of sound, the Arcane USA 60's Tele pickups deliver exactly the open, woody and dynamic vintage Tele tone with lots of transparency and excellent response.
An extremely characterful player tele with real L.A. studio history and a special background.
