Wonderful Fender Stratocaster from 1964 with all the classic pre-CBS features like Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, Grey-Bottom pickups and "Pat. Pend." Steel riders.
According to the stamp, the neck dates from August 1963 and offers a pleasant C profile with very good playability - supported by a professional refret incl. new bone saddle.
Important: The body has been refinished in vintage white, and the electrics and some hardware components have been replaced (original parts are included).
As a result, it is of course not a pure collector's guitar in the "all original" sense, but an outstandingly playable vintage instrument with an authentic sound and honest history.
The Grey Bottom pickups measure in the typical range and deliver exactly the open, bell-like Strat sound you would expect from this era.
