2024 Epiphone Inspired by Gibson CS – 1958 Korina Explorer Aged Natural – ID 6176

Epiphone has collaborated with Gibson™ Custom Shop has impressively recreated the Korina Explorer™, first produced in 1958, one of the most famous and valuable vintage guitars of all time. It offers guitarists around the world authentic details of the original 1958 Explorer—at an unbeatable price. Like the extremely rare original 1958 Gibson models, it features a solid Korina body and a Korina neck with a long tenon and the 1958 Explorer neck profile. It also comes equipped with an Indian laurel fingerboard and gold hardware. The top-of-the-line electronics consist of Gibson Burstbucker™ 2 and Burstbucker 3 pickups, each wired with its own volume control as well as a master tone control featuring CTS® pots and a Mallory™ capacitor, as well as a Switchcraft® 3-way pickup selector switch and a 1/4" output jack. The back of the headstock is adorned with the Epiphone x Gibson Custom logo, and a hard-shell case is also included.
