The semi-acoustic ES-335 served as the basis for the Trini Lopez Standard. The "Non Reverse" headstock with 6-in-row mounted tuners, the eye-catching "Diamondshaped Soundholes", the "Split Diamond Inlays" and the "Trini Lopez' Tailpiece" have been changed.

In 1964, only five examples of the Trini Lopez Standard were delivered, with significant numbers not coming onto the market until 1965. In 1967, the production volume peaked at 783 units, after which the number of units produced fell sharply again, down to 43 in 1970, the last year of production. 1966 examples of the Trini Lopez Thinline left the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo.
In 2007, Gibson came out with the Dave Grohl Model, essentially a Trini Lopez Standard with a stop tailpiece.
Here is an article about Trini Lopez: Guitar and Bass.

At 42.4 mm, our 1966 example has a comfortable, relatively wide neck and is in very good condition.
The case looks really iconic, it's vintage but not original.
