Vintage Sixties Fender Player Stratocaster with neck from November 1962.
The body most likely dates from the early CBS era or around 1966 and was probably already refinished at the Dakota Red factory at that time.
The letters ES, which stand for Entered Special or Custom Order (often Custom Color), are stamped into the body under the pickguard. that narrows the body down to roughly the period from 1960 to 1966.
In terms of sound, the Strat convinces with very strong Black Bottom single coils in the typical vintage range - bell-like, wiry and extremely dynamic.
Thanks to the refret, the instrument is extremely playable and therefore clearly a real player vintage Strat with a lot of character, definitely try it out...
