With the Modern Player Coronado II, Fender brought back a rare classic from the company's history. While the originals from the 1960s were built with a completely hollow body, the reissue features a center block, combining the airy response of a hollow-body guitar with significantly more sustain and resistance to feedback.
The two Fidelitron humbuckers give the Coronado its very own character. Tone-wise, it falls somewhere between Gretsch, ES-style, and classic Fender DNA—open, brilliant, and with a touch of twang that you’ll search for in vain on many semi-hollows.

The stylish Candy Apple Red finish, the bound F-holes, and the elegant body shape also make the Coronado a real head-turner that stands out from the mainstream.
