1967 Gretsch – 6120 Chet Atkins Nashville – ID 6019

The Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins Nashville is one of the great classics among electric hollow-body guitars. Since the late 1950s, it has shaped the sound of rock 'n' roll, country, and rockabilly, and has been used by, among others, Chet Atkins, Brian Setzer and Duane Eddy performed.
This 1967 model features a beautiful orange finish with a sunburst headstock and was professionally restored at the Munich Guitar Company with new frets and a new nut.
The original frets and nut are included. A recent Vintage Guitar Checkup documents the instrument's technical condition.
As with many Gretsch instruments from this era, there are age-related cracks in the binding and some shrinkage of the binding; however, this does not affect the instrument's functionality.
The gold plating on the hardware—especially on the Bigsby—has mostly worn off over the decades, emphasizing its authentic vintage character.
