2024 Gibson Custom Shop – 59 Les Paul R9 – Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging – ID 6022

An original 1959 Les Paul is arguably one of the most legendary and expensive electric guitars in the world. A '59 reissue from Murphy Lab is very close to the original in both appearance and sound.
This 2024 R9 impresses with its classic Cherry Sunburst finish, authentic Ultra Light Aging, and an exceptionally well-balanced weight of 3909 grams.
The Murphy Lab Aging treatment gives the guitar the look and feel of a perfectly preserved vintage Les Paul, without looking overdone.
The guitar is from a first-hand owner, is in very good overall condition, and has only one scratch on the back. Otherwise, it comes with complete documentation and the original Lifton case.
