Classic mahogany body with a maple top and double binding, mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard and block inlays.
The electronics are original; all four potentiometers date from 1986.
The sought-after Tim Shaw pickups are responsible for the great tone ; they deliver the typical Gibson character of that era: powerful, direct, and with plenty of sustain.
What's especially nice: The gold-colored hardware is in nearly perfect condition.
At 4,114 grams, that's absolutely within the normal range for a custom bike of this generation.
