The Axis comes with a beautiful "bookmatched" curly maple top on a light lime body. For the best possible resonance and sound reproduction, two special medium-output DiMarzio humbuckers are mounted directly on the body. This tonewood pickup combination is the perfect recipe for hard, edgy rock sounds, but also for a subtle dynamic response at lower volumes if required.
